well the olny thing i did come up with is the last name owen tryand see if you find some thing there but here 's the thing abt owen and the family name of bowen bowen means the son of owen and some times in frount of the last name owen you will see ap or ab well the ap stands for dad ab stans for son and well when ab owen came here to the us wayback around 1600's the name had change from ab owen to bowen and some of the ap owen's also had takeing the last name as welland then some became powell's there are some other names to but i for got what ones that are but well my family tree's also tie in to them last names as well a friend of mine who was working on the last name owen and some wher on the owen meaasge borad is where the info abt the last name's and how thay change and became what we know to day. and well i'm realy from wi but for right now i'm in indiana but the funny thing with my bowen part of the family is well my dad from tx and well my mom from wi and thay met each other out in ca working in the grape filds and well my dads parents where frist cousents from well there mom's both grand ma's where like 3rd cusents and and well my grand pa and my dads 1/2 bothers dad was also a cusent to my bowen family he was a camberlin/chmberlynn but thats olny the 1/2 of it now on his mom side she was a dewberry/dueberry and well thay where kin to the tuck family of va and well the old saying go's in the family there where no dewberrys left becuse the tuck's ate them all any how i did look in to some of my tuck family and well i did met one of the kin who was my 4th cousent and well some of her family lived in the same town i had ground up in up in wisconsin like 5 mils from my home and well looking in to my moms family tree i found that most of the family trees i was looking in to and working on also hit in to her family tree as well her family lines come from a round in ill,wi,and mn and other places as well. and when working with year of brith some say to do a 5 year search like a time fram but well i do do that but i go with a 20 year time fram also to use other spellings of the name as well in doing so is how a lot of things can befound. the city of housten ,tx was well the land that it sitson to day was land that once was own by my 4th or 5th gen back from me as to my g-grand opa on that side of the family my dads side its well realy some thing once you get in to and well working on the familytree its heard to put it down lol well i got to go but if you ever need any help let me know i be happy to help any way i can
