I am looking for information on Peter Breen (my great great great grandfather). His son John born about 1827 left Kilrush in 1847 on the ship "Greenlaw" with the Army. He went to India and was with the 1st Madras Fusiliers. He married Georgina Shaw in Maras, 1856. Was wounded in the Indian Mutiny of 1857 and appears on pensioners rolls.
If anyone can help with information on Peter Breen and the family left behind in Kilrush, it would be much appreciated.
