Hi Scott,
Richard D. Brinkley and I are both cousins of yours. Your grandmother, Eva Gladys Holmes Brinkley, left our family a great legacy in the form of a book she compiled about our branch of the Brinkley family. You may want to check with your Dad to see if he may have a copy. Gladys collected photos from those representing various branches of our family and then printed the book on 8.5 x 11" paper so that it could be placed in a binder. I've added a small amount to this book but have not been able to keep it properly updated because I do not have the contact information Gladys had. Since I'm now retired, it's more difficult than it use to be for me to get things printed in volume, so, if you could find a copy in your family, maybe I could just add to the information.
