I am looking for any information on Mr. BRISTO who married Mahala CHISOLM (CHISHOLM, CHISM, CHISUM) circa 1835 probably in Meade Co., KY.
Mahala CHISOLM BRISTO married a second time to William HERNDON on 3 August 1846 in Meade Co., KY.
The following children were enumerated in the 1850 U.S. Federal Census in Meade Co., KY, living with William & Mahala; Alphonzo 15, John 10, William 7, Martha (A.) 6, (Charles) Westley 4, & Rhoda 1. It is believed that all of these children except Rhoda were the issue of Mahala CHISOLM's first marriage to Mr. BRISTO.
The family of William & Mahala (CHISOLM BRISTO) HERNDON are found in the 1860 U.S. Federal Census enumerated in Marion Co., MO. They later settled just across the state line in Adams Co., IL.
