old letter dated 1928

Found an old letter dated Nov 12, 1928, written by W. E. Bristow in Richmond Virginia,to Mrs. Adelaide Bristow Eubank Floyd, about the Bristow line.
I am a descendant of this line. Posting for others to use. Please contact me if you are connected or know further.


"James S. Bristow married first Nora Stewart, and of that marriage atleast Rv James Benjamin Bristow, Robert Braxton Bristow, and Francis Addison Bristow were born. The last two left no issue. James S. afterwards married a Pollard, Booker, and Foster. The last survived him. I knew her as a girl, but never discussed family with her. The other childern of James S. as I have them were:
Dursilla J. married Eubanks
Eugenia E. married Evans
William G.
Julian (killed in Stuarts Cavalry)
Charles (son of Emily Foster"

also believed to have raised a large family.

was the son of
William Bristow babtised Oct 29, 1682
married
Margaret Stark
married on Dec 7, 1704

Williams brother
John Bristow and his wife Michall
living in Middlesex county as early as 1680
