Thanks for the info. My John Bristow was supposedly born on the Isle of Man in 1799 and married Ann Cockburn (Cobourn, etc.) They moved to Canada in the mid 1800s. The family with the most likely names lived in Woolwich, Kent, England in 1841, but I cannot say for sure this is the right John as he was born in England, not the Isle of Man.
