He's Charles, brother of James Madison Brockway, and son of Elias Brockway and Lovisa Champion.
Line is Charles; Elias; Ezra; Richard; William; Wolston.

This caught my eye since Alonzo Washington Brockway (in my line) was also in Sacramento in 1849. Apparently, a number of Brockways were in Sacramento in the Gold Rush years. Has anyone learned for whom Brockway Park in Sacramento was named?
I had him as Charles M., born 1807 and married to Betsey ?? with children Beckwith Brockway, Charles Brockway & Reuben Brockway. Is this correct and was Betsey possibly a Beckwith?
