May R. Newhouse, A BROUSSARD & ROMERO ANCESTRY; 1600-1950; Author, 1992; p. 5; Salt Lake City Family History Library. Joseph Gregoire BROUSSARD, son of Alexandre dit Beausoleil & Marguerite THIBODEAU, born at Chipoudy, Acadia on 1 Jan 1725 (AG: v.6, #4-131). He married in Acadia around 1750 to Ursule TRAHAN, daughter of Rene & Isabelle DAROIS (ASNOSR: v.2-267); three children. He was deceased by [12] Aug 1763 when his widow and three children are listed as prisoners at Halifax, Nova Scotia (AGE: v.2, #9-4).
This woman's research is some of the best that I have seen posted on the Internet. She is very thorough.
