I am seeking info regarding my grandfather's father and other relatives among the Brown's in Illinois. His mother's name was Morcher and his father may have been born in NY state. I am also told that upon the demise of his mother, his father remarried and moved to Texas with the stepmother and two daughters. Would appreciate any leads - I know that he served in the US Cavalry 1900-1903; homesteaded in Mt, where he is buried.
