Am searching for info on James Van Brown born in GA 1790 and married Mary Polly Colley circa 1818. He died in Monroe County, GA according to LDS. What I am looking to document is that one of his children possibly had a son by the name of James Van Brown.
My aunt's grandfather was James Van Brown born circa 1846-49 in GA. After after the Civil War he and Enoch Hartsfield walked to Arkansas. This James Van Brown married Melissa Horn (daughter of Jacob Horn) on 3-6-1877 in Arkansas.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have my aunt's line forward and will be glad to share.
