Any descendants of the above, the Browns were originally settled in Rehoboth and Swansea Mass, then, East Providence was deeded over to Rhode Island.
One of my ancestors married into the Brown Family, Eli Hurd Rockwood, in early 1600, Chad Brown, first Baptist Minister in East Providence, yes, from Mary and John Brown early 1600, the family that founded Brown University
