BROWNE in England in the 1800's

I am researching the BROWNE family in England around 1800.
I'm looking for the details of my 4xG Grandfather, William Henry BROWNE, (his father was called Joseph).

We think he lived around the Salford/Manchester area, but there are theories that he could actually have come from Darton, Yorkshire, or Fleet, Hampshire !

Any other UK BROWNE researchers out there ?
I would love to hear from you - as I now have a lot of information to share.

Cheers,
Geoff Browne.
