I have John Brownlee b. 9 May 1840 d. 18 Feb. 1901 m. Elizabeth McMillan b.1843 d. 9 Feb. 1891.
Children:Robert b 1843, Ida Jane b 31 Aug. 1874, William J. b. 6 Oct. 1876, Mary Ellen b 21 Nov 1880, John b 23 Jan 1884. John & family lived on 3rd Con. of Sarnia Twp. He was Reeve of Sarnia Twp for a time in late 1800s. They are buried in Irwin Cemetery on 4th Con. of Sarnia.
John also had two first cousins David Brownlee m. Jane Hay Park and son David W. Brownlee, and Robert Brownlee m. Barbara Brook with children Maggie Elizabeth, Alfred David, and Christina Ellen.
I have not researched the descendants of these families but if these names are in your research, I will share my info.
