Randy Your 3 matches are closer than would be expected at that many generations. 10 if I got it right. That leaves some us in a gray area that can only be define with much more information both DNA and paper trial. When your matches are compared to the Irish Type III modal they show a branch marker at 446 at 14. My 4th cousin has it, I do not, we need to find a 4th cousin from a different son of Josiah Briant born before 1765, in order to have modal for our branch. When you have DNA for several descendant form different sons of Morgan Bryan it will then be possible to make some informed judgment from the DNA modal of Morgan Bryan where I fit into this.
