I am looking for any relatives of this Rudy, Rhudy, Roudolph Burgess, Bergis, b. abt 1862-1863 in NC. 1880 census, Ashe Co. Nc Peak Creek district, living with Nancy Bergis (aunt) listed: Rudoulph 16, and Ephram 5. Also listed in 1870 census, Ashe Co. NC Peak Creek district living with Nancy Bergis 53 listed: Caroline 30, Hugh 10, Rudy 7. He married Emily Elizabeth Briggs abt 1886? Emily married David Wilson in 1992-1993 and they moved to Carter County, Tennessee.
I cannot seem to connect to his parents or any siblings. His son, Grover Burgess b. 1891, moved to Wash. Co. Tennessee and married Effie Odell. They had 11 children
Please help.
