Dear Mr. Stevens,

Thank you for responding to my query. This is quite possibly the same man. I found the following Butlers listed in the militia records. After each name I've provided the year/s they were listed:

Augustus Butler 1817
James 1806, 14
Jesse 1828-30
John 1821
Rolly 1819
William 1797, 1817, 19, 20

I don't know if any of these names are familiar to you or not.
