Hello,
By any chance does anyone know any of these Cabiness Families in Todd & Christian Co's, KY?
My 4th great-grandfather Johnson Gibson married on April 28, 1851 in Marshall Co.,KY Lucy Ann Cabiness b. 1813 in VA.
I know Lucy's mother was named Mary and she was b. 1783 in VA. and died aft. 1860 possibly in Livingston Co, KY.
But i have no idea on her father's name.

Johnson Gibson was from Todd County and had several family members there and several run ins with the Cabiness Family. I'm trying to figure out if there was any other connection but so far not much luck.

On this May 24, 1841 personally appeared before me George L. Cabaniss , an acting Justice of Peace, Abigail Gibson, making the following declaration. (Duplicate of the foregoing declaration with the following exceptions.) She request to allow her certificate to be enclosed to her attorney Isaac H. Franklin of Frankfort, KY.
I the 1st subscribed magistrate do certify that the above declarant to be personally known to be and know to be the individual she represents herself to be and a lady of truth and respectability in whose statement the fullest faith and credit should be placed. Given under my hand this day in May, 1841 George L. Cabaniss, J.P.
