Does anybody have any information on a Mary Jane Callicott...or similar spelling of last name? She was born in TN circa 1828, was of considerable Indian blood, supposedly had some French blood in her also, and married Andrew Washington Barr sometime around 1846. We are assuming that she was a Callicott, because old family records show her last name as Calcutta...which is doubtfully correct. Any help would be appreciated. We also assume that she had somebody named Pascal in her family, since the middle name of her second born son was Pascal....and that is the only reference to that name in our family. Her first born son was named after his paternal grandfather, and was born somewhere in MS....the rest of her children were born in AR after 1848...she supposedly had some ties to Oxford, MS also. Thanks.
