I am looking for information on James Castles/Cassell/Cassels born 1843 in Scotland and his wife Anna Bell, who was born in England in 1851. Two daughters were born in England – Margaret in 1868 (married Robert Brown) and Isabella in 1870 (married Samuel James). Other children were born in PA, probably in Elk County. They were Mary A., Elizabeth, James, Abraham, Agnes, John, Frank, William. In the 1900 census, Ann Cassell states she had given birth to 12 children and 9 were still living. Son Frank married Agnes Mullen and died in Detroit, Michigan in 1973; Abraham died 1964 in PA; John Joseph d. 1962 near Napa, CA; William d. 1967 in Elk Co., PA. James and Anna Cassels both died in Elk Co., PA James in 1915, and Anna in 1935 and are buried in Kersey.
