Seeking information on Donna M. (probably Mae) ELZIG, daughter of Blanche CASTLE and (probably Dewey) ELZIG. Born in or near Iowa Falls, Hardin Co., Iowa, about 1915. (Blanche was the daughter of Wallace CASTLE and Mae CLARK.)
Donna enumerated with mother Blanche ("widow," though probably actually divorced) in the 1920 census in Hardin Co. By 1930, she lived with her maternal grandmother, Mae (Clark) CASTLE (then NIEMAN) in nearby Black Hawk Co. Mother Blanche apparently deceased by then; buried (stone without dates) at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls as Blanche CARTER.
Donna married Thomas Joseph COSTELLO Oct. 12, 1935 at Freeport, Stephenson CO., Illinois; divorced 1939. What happened to Donna?
