Hello Cousins. Thank you all for the great work you have done. I need help/info on Solomon Castle/Cassel Jr. family.
His father was Soloman Castle I believe the son of John E (Emery), son of Zedekiah Alan, son of Jacob Castle, Jr. son of Jacob Castle Sr. and on up to Julius Kassel in Germany.
I know that Solomon Sr. married Amanda Copley. My grandfather Solomon changed his name when he left Ky to Samuel Jackson. (Anyone know why?) Any info you are willing to share would be greatfully appreciated. My grandfather had 8 children and 21 grandchildren.
They lived in Inez, Ky.... Castle Rock? My Dad had spoken to a 1st cousin Edgar who had a twin brother Elmer. Edgar had a son that still lived there, Elmer was in a Nursing home. Thanks for the help.
