hello to you. my name is brenda cowan, I am a descendant of Julius Kassel, Jacob Castle, Jr.The reference I have on Zedekiah Castle is: father -Jacob Jr, mother- Mary Shane Zedekiah was born May 15,1788 Russell Co., Va. buried Martin Co., Job, Ky. Sept. 17,1851. He also married Ann Pennik Ther's got to be a connection somewhere. It's hard to keep some of these names straight because the boys were named after the father. The Castlewood, Va. was named after Jacob,Sr.,whose wife was a shawnee - Sowege Glding Swan, born in Pa. died in Va. Hope to hear from you and maybe we can find our connection.
