Hi,
I am also interested in finding a Casto born in Ohio ca. 1907. I just recently obtained a letter written in 1926 from George W. Runyan of New London, OH, and he mentions his daughter Lena who is residing with them and a 19 year old grandson, Alvin who at that time was attending Ohio University. In checking the census records I have discovered that Lena and Alvin are both listed with the surname, Casto. There is also a granddaughter whose last name is Chase, who might also be Lena's child by a previous marriage.
I would like to find some information about Alvin. George Runyan, his grandfather was a brother to our gggrandmother, Phoebe Alvira Runyan Love. George was the owner, editor, and publisher for the New London Record for many years, and he was a very well-educated, civic minded man in New London.
If this line of Casto connects with yours, let me know.
Thanks,
Shirley
