I have been searching for ancestors. I recently spoke with a gentleman whose last name was spelled Cheneyworth. He told me the he has positively linked relationships to Chaneyworth and Chenoweth surnames. He claims that their may have been several changings of the spelling of these names over a long period of time. Does anyone else have any info that might indicate this.
