I have been communicating with a minister in Northern CA. who is searching for a Mary and Samson Chenoweth who married in Chaceswater, Cornwall and came to America in 1850. Considerably later than your family but she is working with a Sheri Chynouth from Utah, and they may be able to help you.
In the Cora Hiatt Book is a letter from a Mrs. Sampson Chenoweth recently from Cornwall that might be of interest.
The Harris Book and the Hiatt Book deal with John Chenoweth who came to America in 1715 from Cubert, Cornwall. However, Chynouths are one of the oldest tribes in Cornwall and according to historians there, are all related in some way,
