If you are seeking the John M. Chenoweth who is the hero of the Battle of San Jacinto and others, please let me know. When we were compiling the Harris Book, I received his information very late. However, Rich Harris has this in his book in the Unknowns in the back of the book. This volumbe is indexed, Hiatt is now.

I have received other queries regarding his parents and am working on this, among others. If you communicate with me, I'll try to help you.

I must tell you that most of the Chenoweth, Chynouth information available is on one John who came here in 1715 from Cubert, Cornwall and his descendants. The above=mentioned John M is one of them.

Anything I can do to help you, I'll be happy to try. Welcome to the Tribe.

Shannon Chenoweth Graham
