It is my belief that both my family and the Samson & Mary who immigrated in 1850 are descended from a Chynoweth family that lived in St. Agnes, Cornwall. Sampson Chynoweth b.1690 who married Jane Oates appears to be the connection, however I haven't been able to pin down the details.
