I have a bible page that has the family of Horsey Smith.
I believe these are two surnames and I found a Horsey Smith marriage in Somerset Maryland June 4 1799.
Our relative is Nancy W Smith and she married Barna G Gibbs Sr. in Ohio Scioto Co. I truley believe that Elizabeth Smith is Nancy's sister tho she is m. in Pike County Ohio.
The children's names of Smith's are Elizabeth, Hiram, Sally, Nancy, Edward, and Ellen.
The bible is from Nancy's son's granddaughter and so the names may not be in order.
The places they go to are Tippecanoe Indiana and Grundy County Indiana, with the help of Helen and John who helped me with the research.
I am hoping maybe some Chenoweth's know more about this family?
