I'm looking for more information on my gg-grandfather's first wife, Sarah Jane Clark. Sarah was born on October 18, 1851 in Arkansas and died on November 3, 1875 in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. Sarah died due to burns suffered in a prairie fire in Kansas.

Sarah married my gg-grandfather, John Coyle, on January 18, 1867 in Kansas. They had two children, Mary born Feb 27, 1868 and Edward born April 1, 1873. I don't know her parents names, if she had any siblings, or how she got to Oklahoma and met John Coyle. The dates and information that I have are from a family bible.

Supposedly the letter that John Coyle wrote to the Clark family to inform them of Sarah's death was kept and is still in the Clark family. I found mention of this letter from a distant cousin of mine in Oklahoma who was researching the family tree. Unfortunately this cousin passed away a few years ago and I haven't been able to get a copy of her notes and documents.

I would love to see a copy of the letter or see any other information someone might happen to have on Sarah Jane Clark.
