I'm searching for information on John Clark born in NH about 1795. He served as a private during the War of 1812. He lived most of his life in Peterborough, NH. He married Mary Crosby (b. 1804?) in Lyndeborough, NH on Feb 9, 1826. They possibly had two sons and one daughter and then had a son, Stephen, born in 1831/2.
Stephen moved to Palmer, MA married Mary Childs daughter of Isaac Childs and had three children (Charles, James, Anna). Stephen died as a POW in Andersonville prison, GA on Aug 21, 1864.
Questions:
Is John Clark's father Robert Clark of Peterborough?
Is Mary Crosby's father Timothy Crosby of Peterborough?
