Okay, I did some more research, Mearns, must have either disolved as a town or was annexed by Morinville, I really do not know much about it... There is no mention of Obline or Francois in the book of St. Albert and district. May be I can find it in the Morinville book... Will try to do some more digging.

As for Obline and Francois (Frank), as far as I can tell he died in 1904, not sure where, assume Oklahoma, and she is there in 1910, did Obline move to Alberta after this, as I do not find her in the 1920 US Census...

In the 1900 Census of Oklahoma, Frank states that he was born in March 1847, Canada. Immigrated in 1861. Obline states that she was born July 1856, immigrated in 1872, consistant with the other Comeaus in her family.

Will keep looking, I hope that this has helped... Diana
