Hello all.
It's been some years since I posted this info so perhaps someone could help. My family from Ogdensburg, NY is descended from Nelson Como (death record shows name change upon emigration to Northern NY from Narcisse Comeau) born about 1812 in the Montreal area, died 1887 at Ogdensburg.
Death record shows father may have been John, and mother may have been Margaret, born in Canada. Nelson married Maria Holmes, possibly in Canada, and later, Marinda Turell. He died Mar 7, 1887 at Ogdensburg, NY. Have been unsuccessful linking to the Comeau line. Any help would be great appreciated.
