I am looking for information on an ELMER E. CONKLIN who was apparently born in Illinois around 1869. The 1910 Oklahoma census (Harrison, Kiowa County, Oklahoma) states that his father came from Ireland and his mother from New York. He was married to a Rosa L (maiden name unknown) Rosa was shown as being born in Missouri. He and Rosa adopted two little girls before 1910 and their names were Hazel A. Jones born approx. 1905 and Minnie May Jones born 1906. Their mother died sometime after 1906. The family is again shown on the 1920 Oklahoma census (Waconda, Caddo County, Oklahoma). Rosa died around 1933 and is buried in Hinton, Caddo County, Oklahoma. I am not sure when Elmer died but I believe it was after 1950 and I don't know where he is buried. His name is listed in Hinton but there is no birth date or death date.
I would appreciate any information on this couple. Minnie May is my grandmother and she died in 1945 in Oklahoma.
