My Conklin ancesters came to Leitchfield, KY from Virginia, early in 1800's. David and Lydia Cunningham Conklin had eleven children, and I would like to correspond with any of their descendants. One child, Thomas, and wife Lurana Kerr Conklin, had seven children in Leitchfield, including my ggrandfather William Henry. He moved with wife Catherine Hart South Conklin to Kansas around 1870, They had nine children in Arcadia, KS before she died and he remarried. Their last son, James Roscoe Conklin, married my grandmother Myrtle Graham and moved to Pittsburg, then Wichita where I was born to their daughter Catherine Yingling. SO I HAVE A LOT OF "COUSINS" AND DON'T KNOW ONE OF THEM! Please contact me if this genealogy sounds famiiar.
