Does anyone know of a Dr. Conklin or Conkling of Philadelphia who got involved with Gen. Mina in the Mexican Revolution and was captured by Spaniards in 1817-1818? His name also appears as William Conklin. He was shipped to Spain and condemned to hard labor, but was freed on March 14, 1820.
