I am looking for immigration information and provenance within Scotland for Francis CORMACK.
1. Francis CORMACK (b: c.1803, Scotland)
m: Margaret (b: c.1817, Scotland)
2. John Grafton CORMACK (b: 8 June 1855, Roseneath, Ontario, Canada)
m: Georgiana Fields (b: 25 November 1863, Coburg, Ontario, Canada)
In the 1881 Ontario Census these four individuals are listed together as part of the same household*. Given that Margaret was born in Scotland circa 1817 and that John was born in Ontario 8 June 1855, the family must have immigrated from Scotland to Ontario between 1817 and 1855. I would like to be able to know aboard which ship and when Francis CORMACK sailed, coming to Ontario. Additionally, I am hoping that this may lead me know know more precisely from where in Scotland he hailed. If anyone can offer me any assistance in this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.
