The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, June 11, 1908 NELSON OTTO CORMACK was born Jan. 22, 1875, in Monroe County, Iowa, and died at his home in Wichita, Kans., aged 33 years, 4 months and 11 days. He was united in marriage to ELSIE ANDERSON, Feb. 23, 1898. They were the parents of four children, three girls and one boy, two having preceded him to the grave. In November, 1905, he moved with his family to Oklahoma, and later, to New Mexico, in search of health, only to be disappointed, returning to Wichita, Kans., about six months ago, to receive medical treatment, but all efforts proved in vain and he was called to meet the inevitable. He was a resident of Whitebreast Township for a number of years, and was loved by all who knew him. He was a dutiful son, a kind husband and an indulgent father. The remains were brought to Chariton, Friday evening, and funeral services held at the home of his mother in Whitebreast Township, conducted by Rev. Evans, of the Methodist Church. Interment was made in Chariton Cemetery. He leaves a wife, two children, two brothers, two sisters, and other relatives and friends to mourn his departure. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert February 26, 2005 iggy29@rnetinc.net http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
