Ah.....that would be interesting!

I am still trying to find and organize my stuff again. I moved in March, and I haven't quite got everything back where it should be. I don't remember all the dates, etc.

I just found this website:
http://www.greatnorthern.net/~terryf/Frederick.html

search for "Brace" on this website and you will find the following that I have pasted a portion of:

Brace,Weaks,Nice,Simpson,Correll,Smith,Powell,Garvin,Kelly,Knepper,Mitchell,Chapman,Johns Link.
Return to top of page.
Edward Brace; b. New York

Children:
Avery Brace; b. 7 Jun 1798 New York; d. 29 Oct 1883 Rossville, Iowa; m. 1st Anna Rose Weaks; m. 2nd Rachel Weaks; b. 1793; d. 21 Apr 1868 Niconza, Ind

Children:
Adeline K. Brace; b. 30 Aug 1820; d. 29 Apr 1826

Edward Brace; b. 27 May 1822 Sheldon, NY; d. 22 Jul 1915; m. Isabella Van Nice14 Jun 1860

Russell Brace; b. 25 Feb 1825 Sheldon, NY; m. Mary A. Simpson 17 Jun 1852

Jane P. Brace; b.8 Apr 1827; m. John Correll 1850

John Correll and Jane P. Brace were Avery Brace Correll's parents, according to David Correll (see here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~sassytazzy/family/surnames/corell/docs/descjohncorrell1.html)

Avery Brace Correll was Miller Correll's father. If Avery Brace Correll was born in 1841, then he must have been adopted by John Correll when he married Jane P. Brace in 1850. Still, that doesn't solve the problem of Miller being born in 1846. I still think that he was born in 1867 (as I previously stated) and that David must have something mixed up. That would be the only way that this all could possibly be true. That would make Avery 26 when Miller was born, which is more likely.

Please forgive this question, but what were you researching Miller Correll for initially? Are you related as well? When I get my things back together, I will be in better form to intelligently discuss this more with you. For now, I just have my memory and a few web resources to refer to. I have a bunch of papers and documents in boxes somewhere at this moment, as well as my digital files stored on Family Tree Maker software (that I need to re-install on my computer).

I hate moving, because it always takes forever to get your life back in order :(

Anything you would like to share, feel free to do so.
