I am looking for information about my great-grandmother, Minnie Ann Tolen's parents and grandparents. She was born 2 Sept 1895(ish)Watertown, SD and d 1980, Sioux City, IA. Married THOMAS JOSEPH FINNEGAN, Jan 1916. Moved from Minnesota to Sioux City in 1918. Had two sons, RAYMOND and THOMAS MORRIS FINNEGAN, b 6 Jun 1916, Watertown, d 17 Nov 1998, Sioux City. Daughter, Peggy Fox.
Thomas Joseph, b 9 Apr 1889, Watertown, d 8 May 1943, Sioux City.
Her parents are listed as JERRY TOLEN and ELIZABETH CROSBY. I have no information on Jerry and I have one source saying Elizabeth was born in Wisconsin and died in 1899. Elizabeth's mother was SYLVIA (unk maiden name) CROSBY JONES, b 15 Apr 1831 Rockdale, PA, died age 109, Jul 1940 Watertown. Syliva was married to IRA CROSBY and then JOSEPH JONES.
Sylvia's other grand-children listed as POTVIN.
I am looking for information on both Jerry and Elizabeth and Ira and Syliva.
