H. D. Crosby b. Feb. 27th, 1811 Hartland, Litchfield Co.,CT. Settled in Livingston Co.,NY in 1816. His wife was Rachel Underwood b. June 15th, 1813 York. They were married Feb. 8th, 1837. Four children:
1.Marcia F. Crosby b. Nov. 29th, 1838
2.Newton H. Crosby b. Feb. 18th, 1841
3.Helen E. Crosby b. 1852
4.Edward B. Crosby b. Sept. 5th, 1853
His father was Jeduthan Crosby who settled in Leicester, Livingston Co.,NY in 1816 and died in 1848 aged 72 years.
