Frank Buza naturalization

By way of update on my search for my Buza ancestors in "the old country" .... I have found what I firmly believe is the naturalization record of my great-great-grandfather, Frank Buza (c 1849-1916).

Unfortunately for the search, this record gives virtually no new information (just the date of naturalization).

It is a virtually certainty (in my mind) that the Frank Buza in the record is my ancestor. This is made certain because:

1. The name on the record is Frank Buza
2. The court processing the naturalization was in Will County, Illinois, where my ancestor lived.
3. The Frank Buza on the document was born in (or had allegiance to) Austria.
4. One of the witnesses to the naturalization proceeding was also one of my ancestors -- Ransford Calhoon was Frank Buza's father-in-law (and my great-great-great grandfather: father's father's father's mother's father). The other information on this record made me feel "maybe, could be", but the listing of Ransford Calhoon as a witness to the proceeding made it virtually certain, in my mind.

Anyway, all that to say that I still do not know where to look in "Austria" / "Bohemia" / Czech Republic.

My current thinking is to proceed along these lines:

1. Request a copy of Will County Circuit Court records for the 12 Jan 1882 naturalization of Frank Buza.
2. Request from the related IRAD (Illinois Regional Archives Depository) a copy of the declaration of intent for the related time frame.
3. Request from the related IRAD(s) copies of the birth records for each of Frank's children born in Illinois (not all of them were born in Illinois, some records would be in South Dakota).

Since the official naturalization record does not provide information like date of birth, age or address, I lack confidence that the above listed items would provide the missing data either.

Anyone have any thoughts as to how I might proceed (other than what I've mentioned above)?

I am also cross posting in the Austria forum.

Actually, I think I will cross post in the Illinois forum too.
