In the New Bern Daily Journal, New Bern, NC, Sat., Feb. 11, 1893:
Died in Beaufort, NC Feb. 7th of typhoid pnuemonia; Sergeant William Daily, aged about 46 years. He was a native of Ireland, had been in Government employ for several years and had lately returned from the Dakotas after 18 months. It is thought his sickness was caused from exposure. He leaves a wife and six children. The remains were buried in Portsmouth, NC.
I have no interest in this family and only post this as a resource.
