The Charles of 1880 had just started their famuily and his was wife was Bettie. What more do you need ? They could have had a dozen sons after 188. How many Charles Daltons do think married Betties (probably Elizabeth as were mosdt Bettys)..

Where did you get 1840 for his birth ? This Charles was born ca 1846-47 if the 1880 age was correct.
