I would be happy to send you by email what information I have about Prudence and Caroline Dalton’s parents (John and Sarah Dalton) and their Dalton ancestors (only two generations back, I’m afraid) and about Prudence and Caroline’s siblings. I could also send you the little information I have about the descendants of John and Sarah Dalton. Naturally, I have quite a bit of information about my line (from John and Sarah’s son Thomas) but not much about the descendants of John and Sarah’s other children.
I would very much like to have any information that you could send me about Prudence and her descendants – and anything else that you might have about the Daltons especially anything earlier than 1750. I know there were at least two Dalton families living in the Boughton/Dunkirk/Hernhill area during the 1700s but need more information to make sense of the details that I have so far unearthed. I have not found any mention of Daltons in parish records in the Boughton/Dunkirk/Hernhill area prior to 1732, so I would be particularly interested in any information you have prior to this date.
Yes, I had noticed the Dalton/Wraight link, which is especially intriguing for me as my father (a Dalton) married a Wraight (but not one with any link to Boughton/ Dunkirk/Hernhill as far as I can tell).
