Bessie Medora Dalton was born Feb 22 1870 in Lunenburgh. She was the illegitimate daughter of Josephine Dalton. No father was listed.
On June 2 1872 - Josephine Dalton listed as age 30 and a widow, married Austin Wynot (age 24). Josephine's parents are listed as Walter Dalton and Anna May Myfor? (hard to read writing)
Wynot is also spelled WEINACHT in other places.
Bessie was adopted by the Hebb family a few years later. She was my great-great-grandmother.
Any information or advice about this family would be appreciated.
