Thank you for your reply! I didn't know about his grandparents, but did know the rest. That one tantalizing clue listed in his and Ellendor's marriage record stating that he was a widow when they married is what started the questions for this quest. The information about his son came from my mother's cousin who still lives in Carroll Co. It would really be nice to find this lost branch of our family! Any help is very much appreciated!
