I think this may be your family in 1920 Vienna, Ala (Madison County). Anc.Com has him as "Elesk" but I read it as "Eleck".

He was age 46 born in Georgia of a Ga father. Wife Mary D. was 40 born in Tn of a Ga father.

Son was John D. age 20 which matches the 1900 census. Seven other younger children, all born in Ala.
