On 18 Jul 1854 in Santa Clara, Santa Clara Co., CA, Thomas B. THOMPSON (b. 1831, Boone Co., MO) married Mrs. Elizabeth DAMERON. By the 1860 census, Thomas was a widower, so I get no chance at Elizabeth's age or birthplace. The 1850 Santa Clara County census was lost, so if Elizabeth and her husband were in the county by then, there's no record of it.
In Thomas's 1860 census record, there are no children born by 1850 that could be used to find Elizabeth in the 1850 census. There are 18 Elizabeth DAMERONs in the 1850 census, but none in California. And no DAMERONs, at all, in Santa Clara County.
Does anyone know who Elizabeth was or who her first husband was?
