William F Daniels (father b. 1801, son b. 1842-3)

I saw that someone was researching William F Daniels in Waterford... My 3x great grandfather was William F Daniels, and his father is listed as William F also, with his mother as Nancy Ann Havens (on William Jr's death certificate). According the census of 1850, William F and Nancy A were in Otsego, New York (but without a son listed - William who would be 8 yrs old). Could there be another William F and Nancy A with the same age (I believe it is even the same birth date for the father listed on death certificate and census, though one year off).

Does anyone know anything about them? I could not find a birth certificate for Jr in Waterford, 1842-3. My next step will be Lyme for the Dad.
