Am hoping that someone researching on this sight will have the information I'm seeking. John Davis (b. abt 1821/TN) was the son of Arthur Davis (1786/KY - 1850/AL) and Mary Polly Wilson (1796/KY - before 1850/?) He married a lady who's been listed in census records as Eady, Edney, Eda A., and Edith. This is the lady I'm seeking. In 1880, she was living with her daughter and son-in-law, William R. Brown & Susan (Davis) Anderson, in Beat #12, Jackson County, AL. They were living with a Henry Reynolds & his wife, Dortha. After checking further, Henry was living within a couple census spaces of John & Eady Davis in 1870, 1860 and 1850. I'm thinking that he may be Eady's father but can't prove it as none of the information I have has her maiden name...and the first name changes all the time. Am VERY interested in any information on her and/or her husband, John, and his Davis/Wilson line. Feel free to contact me directly at panhandlekid@yahoo.com if you like. Thank you in advance for any help or direction available. This is starting to drive me bonkers...and it's a very short drive :-) Sheryl OK Notify Administrator about this message?
